Epic Plant Fail Again

I haven't shared about the new bushes that we replaced the dying ones with in the front yard. You might remember how it looked from Epic Plant Fail #1. We dug those out and replaced them with Holly bushes. And this is how those hollies look now.

They are dying too! We think we have figured out the problem though. It is not that we have black thumbs. The issue is water. It seems that our sprinklers don't hit that area. Specifically where the two leafless bushes are.

Mix that with 100+ degree heat here in the south and you get dying plants. Hopefully, we think that we solved the problem in time. Alan has been hand watering that area hoping that we can bring those two back to life. The leaves are still on the tips of the branches and they are bright green.

Keep your fingers crossed for us! On a happy note, our tree in the front yard is still looking good.

And so are all the plants we transplanted into the backyard.

And it is currently pouring rain outside! We needed it so badly. Let's hope it doesn't stop until the plants get their fill.
