I can't believe yesterday, Alan and I have been officially married for 6 months! Time has really flown by. And I am so excited to spend our first Christmas together as a married couple. Speaking of Christmas, we got our first Christmas tree this past weekend. It is a seven foot artificial tree with 800 lights. Pre-lit baby! We put it together on Sunday and it looks great even without decorations on it. Because this is our first Christmas together we are working with literally ZERO decorations. So I will keep you updated with what we find and how we decorate the house for my favorite holiday!
I suggest pine cones— they're free and you can paint them in any color to match the rest of your decor! I'm in the process of making a pine cone wreath...
ReplyDeleteUgh, I know the feeling! We're bumming old ornaments off our family members and doing everything we can to scrape together enough decorations to make our house feel like Christmas!
